M Series

SPECIFICATIONS
Door thickness: Standard accommodates thickness of 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" for doors over 2-1/4" thick, consult factory.

Backset: 2-3/4" only.

Case: Cold formed steel, zinc dichromate plated, .090" thick. Optional lead wrapping available.

Hubs: Hardened steel.

Handing: Right hand is standard; left hand optional. Reversible in the field.

Cylinders: Solid brass cylinder and plug. 5, 6 or 7 pin are available on standard cylinders. 6 or 7 pin are available on interchangeable core cylinder. Furnished with two nickel silver keys standard.

Keyways: "G" keyway standard on standard cylinder. "A" keyway standard on I/C cylinder. See price list for optional keyways.

Bind Resistant Trim: Heavy duty through-bolted inserts clamp the trim on the door assuring proper alignment. Designed to bottom out on 1-3/4" doors to prevent door collapse. Provided with 10-32 screws for strength and thread sealant to prevent loosening.

Latch Bolt: Two-piece brass, mechanical anti-friction bolt. 3/4" projection. Optional lead wrapping available.

Dead Bolt: 1" throw, brass with a 1/4" thick hardened steel, free-turning, saw-resistant roller.

Faceplates: (Armored Front) 1-1/4" x 8" brass, bronze and stainless steel adjustable for door bevel. Reinforced by heavy gauge steel with stabilizing ribs.

Strike: Brass, bronze or stainless steel. Meets ANSI AII5.1 for frame preparation. Strike is handed. Optional 1-1/8 lip-to-center reversible flat lip available.

Electrified Functions: Available in 12 or 24 VAC or VDC.

ANSI/BHMA: Meets ANSI/BHMA 156.13, Series 1000.

UL: 3 hour A label.

T Series

LOCK FEATURES

Door Thickness: 1-3/4"to 2-1/8"standard. Thin door adapter kit (A30775-000-00) vailable for doors thinner than 1-3/4", please specify door thickness. Thicker door locks also vailable, consult factory.

Backset: 2-3/4" standard. 2-3/8" and 5" also available.

Mechanism: Parts constructed of brass or cold formed steel, zinc plated and dichromated for rust resistance. Springs are stainless steel.

Attachment: Lock chassis secured to door by threaded mounting nuts. Completely preassembled outer trim and inner spindle assembly are through-bolted over chassis using (2) 10-32 screws. Adding rose and lever to inner spindle assembly completes installation.

Handing: Locks are non-handed.

Cylinders: Drilled with 6 pin chambers, pinned in 5. Pinning in 6 chambers vailable when specified, to no cost. 7 pin cylinders also vailable. Cylinder assemblies removable to rekey. Also vailable with 6 or 7 pin interchangeable core cylinders. Cylinder housings and plugs machined from solid brass. Springs are phosphor bronze. Two nickel silver keys furnished standard.

Keyways: “G” keyway standard on standard cylinders. “A” keyway standard on I/C core cylinders. Also available with some optional keyways.

Trim: Roses are heavy wrought brass or bronze, installed over pressure cast rose inserts which are through-bolted through door. Levers are pressure cast (solid levers –no inserts) material finished to match mating parts.

Latches: 1/2" bolt projection, UL listed with latch faceplates 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" with square corners standard. 3/4" projection, UL listed latch with 2-3/4" backset also vailable. Adjustable front standard.

Strikes: 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" ANSI strike with curved lip to meet ANSI A115. 2 door frame preparation standard.

Screws: Furnished with combination screws for use in wood or metal doors and frames.

X Series

LOCK FEATURES

Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 1-7/8" doors. Locks for thicker doors also available. Consult factory.

Backset: 2-3/4" standard. 3-3/4" and 5" also available.

Mechanism: Parts constructed of brass or cold formed steel, zinc plated and dichromated for rust resistance. Springs are stainless steel. X Series available with all internal parts of stainless steel or other nonferrous materials.

Attachment: Locks secured to door by threaded collars. Inner collar tightened by special wrench furnished with each lock. Outer rose contains locking plate to prevent unauthorized removal.

Handing: Specify hand of door when ordering. Field reversible.

Cylinders: Drilled with 6 pin chambers, pinned in 5. Pinning in 6 chambers available when specified,at no cost. 7 pin cylinders available in Hana design. Cylinder assemblies removable to rekey or change hand of lock. Also available with 6 or 7 pin interchangeable core cylinders –Elite and Troy designs. Cylinder housings and plugs machined from solid brass. Springs are phosphor bronze. Two nickel silver keys furnished standard.

Keyways: “G” keyway standard on standard cylinders. “A” keyway standard on I/C core cylinders. Also available with some optional keyways.

Trim: Roses are heavy wrought brass,bronze or stainless steel, installed over wrought steel reinforcing plates. Knobs are brass, bronze or stainless steel secured by a steel knob retainer which cannot be depressed when lock has been locked.

Latches: 1/2" bolt projection, UL Listed. Standard latch faceplates 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" with square corners to accommodate beveled or flat front doors. 3/4" projection, UL Listed latch with 2-3/4" backset also available.

Strikes: 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" ANSI strike with curved lip to meet ANSI A115.2 standard door frame preparation standard. Consult Options and Accessories section for other strike sizes and configurations.

Screws: Furnished with combination wood/machine screws for use in wood or metal doors and frames.

ANSI/BHMA: Meets ANSI/BHMA A156. 2, Series 4000, Grade 1.

D 100 Series Deadlocks

SPECIFICATIONS
ATTACHMENT: Deadlocks are furnished with deadbolts which have a full 1” projection. Housed within the deadbolt is a free turning hardened steel, saw resistant roller. D200 deadbolt is made of zinc.

DOOR THICKNESS: 1-3/8” to 1-7/8”. Up to 2-1/4” door thickness also available.

BACKSET: 2-3/8” – 2-3/4” adjustable

HANDING: Non-handed

STRIKES: 2-3/4” x 1-1/8” lipless strike standard. ANSI 4-7/8” x 1-1/4” lipless, 2-1/4” full lip, 2-3/4” x 1-1/8” T-strike, security strike also available.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

RU Series

SPECIFICATIONS

Retrofit locksets shall be Falcon Lock RU Series or equal and meet the following requirements: Exceeds ANSI A156.2 Grade1 Key-in-Lever specifications.

  • Available with Falcon standard or interchangeable core cylinders in 6 and 7 pin configuration.
  • Interchangeable core levers are non-removable with core installed.
  • Available with some 6 pin competitor's keyways.
  • Accepts these competitors interchangeable (removable) cores and standard 6 pin cylinders: Arrow, Assa, Best interchangeable core, Corbin Russwin (except Master-Ring), Medeco, Sargent, Schlage and Yale.
  • PressureRelease™ (clutchable) outside lever.
  • Heavy duty, solid levers are 5" long and have no inserts.
  • No exposed mounting screws.
  • Installs with 10-32 through-bolt screws with thread sealant for extra security and resistance to vibrating loose.
  • No exposed mounting screws.
  • Standard lock is for 1-3/4" thick doors. Also available for 2" and 2-1/4" thick doors.
  • 2-3/4" backset only.
  • ANSI strike standard.

B Series

LOCK FEATURES
Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" standard.

Mechanism: Parts constructed of brass or cold formed steel, zinc plated and dichromated for rust resistance.Springs are stainless steel.

Attachment: Lock chassis secured to door by two screws which pass through a steel rose insert inside and thread directly into the outer rose mounting assembly.

Handing: Locks are non-handed.

Cylinders: Drilled with 6 pin chambers, pinned in 5. Pinning in 6 chambers vailable when specified, at no cost. Cylinder assemblies removable to rekey. Also vailable with 6 or 7 pin interchangeable core cylinders. Cylinder housings and plugs machined from solid brass. Springs are phosphor bronze. Two nickel silver keys furnished standard.

Competitor Cylinders: The B Series accepts these standard 6 pin cylinders: Assa, Kaba, Lori, Medeco, Primus and Schlage.

Keyways: "G" keyway standard on standard cylinders. "A" keyway standard on I/C core cylinders. Also available with some optional keyways.

Trim: Roses are 3-1/2" diameter, heavy wrought brass or bronze,installed over steel rose inserts which are through-bolted through door. Levers are pressure cast (solid levers no inserts) material finished to match mating parts.

Latches: 1/2" bolt projection. UL listed. Latches have self-adjusting fronts to accommodate beveled or flat doors. 2-3/8" backset with 2-1/4" x 1" latchfaces. 2-3/4", 3-3/4" and 5" backset with 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" latchfaces. Deadlocking latches have a solid round bar stock DL bar preventing latch jamming and/or lock outs.

Strikes: 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" ANSI strike with curved lip to meet ANSI A115. 2 door frame preparation standard.

Screws: Furnished with combination screws for use in wood or metal doors and frames.

ANSI/BHMA: Meets ANSI/BHMA A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2.

D 200 Series Deadlocks

SPECIFICATIONS
ATTACHMENT: Deadlocks are furnished with deadbolts which have a full 1” projection. Housed within the deadbolt is a free turning hardened steel, saw resistant roller. D100 deadbolt is powdered high strength steel.

DOOR THICKNESS: 1-3/8” to 1-7/8”. Up to 2-1/4” door thickness also available.

Cylinders: Drilled in 6 chambers, pinned in 5. Pinning in 6 chambers available when specified. Also available with 6 or 7 pin interchangeable core cylinders in H101 function only.

Keyways: "G" keyway standard on standard cylinders. "A" keyway standard on I/C core cylinders.Also available with some optional keyways.

Trim: Roses are wrought brass, bronze or stainless steel, installed over wrought steel reinforcing plates. Knobs are brass, bronze or stainless steel secured by steel knob retainer which cannot be depressed when lock has been locked.

W Series

Handing: Locks are non-handed.

Cylinders: Pinning in six chambers. Cylinder assemblies removable to re-key. Also available with 6- or 7-pin interchangeable core cylinders. Cylinder housings and plugs machined from solid brass.
Springs are stainless steel. Two nickel silver keys furnished standard.

Competitor Cylinder: The W Series accepts standard 6-pin cylinders available from Falcon, as well as Schlage, Corbin-Russwin, Yale and Sargent.

Keyways: “G” keyway standard on Falcon standard cylinders. “A” keyway standard on I/C core cylinders. Also available with some optional keyways. Schlage “C” keyway also available on standard cylinders.

Trim: Roses are 3-5/8” diameter, heavy wrought brass or bronze, installed over steel rose inserts which are through-bolted through door. Levers are pressure-cast zinc (solid levers-no-inserts) finished to match mating parts.

Latches: 1/2” bolt projection made of stainless steel and UL listed for 3-hour door assemblies. Latches have self-adjusting fronts to accommodate beveled or flat doors. 2-3/8” backset with 2-1/4” x
1” latch faces or 2-3/4” backset with 2-1/4” x 1-1/8” latch faces.

Strikes: 4-7/8” x 1-1/4” ANSI strike with curved lip to meet ANSI A115.2 door frame preparation standard. Consult Options and Accessories section for other available strikes, sizes and configurations.

Y Series

LOCK FEATURES
Door Thickness: Y-Series locksets accommodate door thicknesses of 1-3/8” to 1-3/4” standard.

Backset: Universal 2-3/8” — 2-3/4” UL Listed label latch is standard.

Mechanism: Cold rolled steel, zinc plated and chromate coated for rust resistance.

Attachment: Outside knob/lever, rose and chassis one single assembly. Inner mechanism secured to outer mechanism with two through-bolt screws through a steel mounting plate. Snap-on inner rose conceals screw heads. Knob/lever mounts over knob/lever retainer.

Handing: Non-handed. May be used in right hand or left hand doors swinging in or out.

Cylinders: Furnished with solid brass plug and housing, drilled with 6-pin chambers, pinned in 5 unless otherwise specified. Hana and Elite knobs and Dane levers available with 6 or 7-pin small format interchangeable cores. Furnished with two nickel silver keys standard.

Keyways: ”G” keyway standard on standard cylinders. ”A” keyway standard on I/C core cylinders. Available with some optional keyways.

Trim: Available with Hana and Elite knob styles and Dane and Quantum lever handle styles. See individual designs shown on pages 5 and 6 for details.

Latches: 1/2” bolt projection. UL standard. Furnished standard with a universal 2-3/8” – 2-3/4” backset with a 1-1/8” x 2-1/4” faceplate. Optional 1-1/8” x 2-1/4” square or round corner latch front available.
